Tears for April follows the lives (and sadly, sometimes deaths) of five addicts on Vancouver’s infamous Downtown East Side. It’s the story of people who have lost their way, gotten hooked up with the wrong people, and made very bad choices. It’s also the story of the two cops who try, with limited success, to rescue them from the hell they’ve made for themselves.
